New Event, Capsules, and Differences From Japan's Server

Wow that is a long winded title so without further adieu I am back for another post that will pull me back from whats can only be described as possibly the most addicting and easily distracting phone app next to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, Pokemon Go. So while I was taking a moment to appreciate the new game, the new event started, celebrating the games anniversary, and the event does reward you with another pin like usual, and we also got a musical tsum in the form of Bride Rapunzel and yes I know this is old news but hey I need to recap a bit. So while the other two princesses Aurora and Snow White will be staying in the premium box after the end of the month Bride Rapunzel will be leaving come the 31st. But before I get into that I need to talk about the.......

EVENT!!!

So the event has a cupcake theme which is neat I so far have seen about 4 of them (Yes I haven't completed the event I blame Pokemania) but there isn't a whole lot to the event. In terms of game-play it plays similarly to the previous events storm troopers and the event before that's Easter eggs. BUT you only have a possibility of seeing one at a time which significantly prolongs the event. Now you do get some nice rewards for completing the cupcakes like premium tickets and skill tickets but you can also get Marie according to the info I got so there's that. There really isn't a whole lot to say about the event other than if you managed to finish the previous event and got a fully skilled out Leia she will make tons of money and get you those rewards so I recommend her....now if you didn't finish the Star Wars event or just started characters like Goofy or Tigger from the happiness box are good options but its somewhat dependent on luck. Pretty much most of the premium box tsum should do the trick minus transformation, and time-stop tsums with a few exceptions like B-day Anna and Maleficent.

Capsules!!!

Capsules or Time Capsules are special premium boxes essentially that show you what you can get and once you get one of the tsums from the capsule it will go away giving you a better chance at getting the other tsums in the capsules. These usually come around once a month (So far they've been pretty consistent) but the big part of these capsules is that they can have limited tsums that aren't available anymore (Bumblebee Pooh) or aren't available at all normally (Arlo) so if you gotta collect them all and started half-way through or missed some removed tsums that supposedly will come back later in these (Jack, Zero, and Perry) THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT.... so anyway every one of them so far have had about 15 tsums in them and since they cost the same price as a normal premium box it will cost around 450,000 coins to get every, single, one and once you do you also get a sweet skill ticket to top it off. But if you have maxed out one of the tsums skill level entirely and you get a reroll, worry not as according to my info you will be compensated with a premium box ticket take that info with a grain of salt as I haven't done that myself haha. Now since they come once a month and you have all the tsums you want from the premium box saving up money for the capsules is a pretty good way to guarantee getting limited time tsums which is great so get grinding for coins.

Regional Differences!!!

So while I understand that having regional differences is pretty much guaranteed, it would be nice to have some of the things that the Japanese have that we kinda missed unfortunately now I won't go crazy on the details but we pretty much missed most of the big event tsums (Lilo, Abu) and don't even have access to quite a few tsums that weren't even part of events (Sally, Genie, the Romance Ariel set) now I also understand that we will forever be behind the Japanese servers that's not what I'm talking about I'm talking about the specific tsums and the musical tsums we've missed so far (Jasmine, Luke, Vader, Belle). But since we got Bride Rapunzel I have some hope that they will reintroduce or upgrade the ones we missed into musical tsums that would be nice. Not to mention that for a while we had some exclusives (Zootopia) and then the moment the Japanese servers launched them BAMM! Judy becomes a musical...... I know I'm just moaning and groaning and that tsum tsums originally came from Japan but come on....

SO sorry about the rant at the end next time I post it will be about magical bubbles specifically and how you can manipulate them into what you want.

Mickey Challenge & Money Farmers

Sorry for the delayed post I really need to work on the schedule thing hahahaha......

SO as you may or may not know the Star Wars event has ended and with it the characters exclusive to that but not even a week later we got a new event to mess around with and its the mickey challenge. Long story short its a competition for the high score using only Mickey. Over the course of the event which only lasts til' the 26th, people will be trying for high scores and as people score higher and higher the brackets will move around with them. So good news literally everyone actually has a fair shot at the higher level pins because everyone has Mickey and leveling Mickey actually doesn't really change a whole lot with his score but it could help (refer to my Mickey and Minnie post) though people who have skilled up Mickey will obviously have a slight advantage in the end it'll come down to some luck, the power cards you decide to use, and some skill.... Well that's all good but what do we get for being on top well we get pins ladies and gentlemen.... kinda disappointing would be nice to get a skill ticket or even a premium box ticket but oh well.... There really isn't a whole lot to say about this event so I'll move onto something I promised a couple weeks ago and that's.

MONEY FARMING
So you need money for that capsule or lucky time but you average around 300 coins a game with would take 100 games to finally get that premium box and you draw...... the same tsum you already have well that sucks.... but I'll give you some tips that could help in your money building starting with basic gameplay.

So to start don't use any power tickets as they are only useful for high scores like for instance the new Mickey event unless you are willing to use freebies you may have gotten from events. You aren't going for high scores so prolong the game as much as possible use skills to get back into fever once it ends to get that extra sweet 5 seconds to the timer and prioritize longer chains if possible as you get only get coins with chains longer then 3 and it multiplies as the chain gets longer. With that out of they way I will give some example of both happiness box and premium boxes you should be using to farm money with.

OKKKKKKKKKK
So to start we have the mopey but good-hearted Eeyore. He is a transformation tsum that turns random tsums into Eeyore's which can make really long chains if your lucky or you ignore Eeyore for a while and let him build up and then make one long chain that could be worth a couple hundred coins by itself and it recharges itself in the process just don't waste too much time making the long chain. Onto another happiness character.
He's so goofy
It's Goofy and he is a very good starting tsum just like Eeyore. He clears random tsums so he's great for the fever ended so I'm gonna use my skill and pop the bubble to get back into fever strategy. He's also practically necessary for certain bingo cards so go get'em.
The son has arrived but where did he come from?
So now we move onto premium tsums and who better to start with then Max. His skill clears the center row of the which doesn't sound too crazy but then I point out that it only takes 11 Max's to charge his skill which is ridiculous considering the amount he clears...

The golden god.... wow deja vu
But if you don't have Max but managed to do decently enough to land this event exclusive tsum you are in luck my friend as he is quite comparable to him the only major difference is it takes 4 more 3P0's to charge the skill but considering if you did well and leveled up his skill that difference is negligible until you manage to max out Max........

Speak of Star Wars you must
AND if you managed to get one of the other limited Star Wars tsums specifically the short, stubby, green one that talks funny, You got another really good money farmer and he's even the best time stop tsum to boot....currently. His only problem is he can take a LONG time to charge but he can earn you a couple hundred per use if used correctly.
Enough about Star Wars what about the princesses
Well pretty much any Princess in this game is an amazing money farmer with a couple exceptions I won't name.... any who Jasmine is a good burst tsum there really isn't much else to say shes just a solid draw if you get her or just about any of the other princesses minus the one or two who aren't....

Man he just hustled those lemmings hard
So you remember that lovable goof Goofy well here's the direct upgrade. Nick Wilde here gets pretty ridiculous even at low skill level and can easily earn you close to a thousand coins a game if played well. And last but definitely one of the best.

We just can't let it go can we?
Meet Anna probably the best money farmer in the game currently but specifically Birthday Anna, and don't get me wrong if you only have normal Anna she can be just as good the main difference between the two is that Normal Anna takes one more tsum to charge the skill and she is worth around 100 more at max level but that's not quite the biggest difference while yes they have the same skill essentially B-day Anna plays a little animation when you chain together the Elsa's that she summons which makes it much easier to see how much you just cleared in that chain which can help you plan the next move but really its all preference. Another quite comparable tsum is Maleficent.

Oh by the way this Mickey event we got is currently exclusive to the world wide server we could use some other exclusives or maybe just musical tsums haha and before I go I am aware that its a licensing issue....hopefully that's all it is. But next time I'll talk specifically about capsule's and major differences between our version of the game and japan's version of the game.

Star Wars Event Part 2

The Star Wars event has been going on for a bit over a month and the second event started now so here is some information about the events and all of the Star Wars Tsum Tsums.
They show up at random
So to start off is the Star Destroyers the main goal of this part of the event and I hope you've been practicing against the Storm Troopers in the last part as its the entire event.
Up to three can show up at once
They get in the way and fill up the screen which can cause some headaches and may force you to use the fan. I've found using random clear tsums work best but none of the Star Wars characters do that so you won't get the bonus damage if you do this. You can also help your friends and I would recommend it if you have lots of friends. The first advantage to this is you will deal more damage if you assist in a fight and you can get capsules.
See that big grey ball?
These capsules are how you can finish C-3PO's Skill even if you didn't finish the last event as he will randomly come from the capsules along with power tickets and coins. So now onto the tsums and of course who to start with then....
The Main Character
Obviously I'm going to start with Luke Skywalker his skill clears tsums in an cross X fashion which can clear quite a bit even at low skill level.
Coming in hot
Look at him go!
And the finish
leveling his skill increases the size of the cross, his base score is 180 with a max of 1160 which is pretty decent it also take drawing Luke 32 times to max out his skill...that's gonna take a while. He is really useful for this event as there really isn't any blind spots in the skill allowing for him to easily clear the Storm Troopers. Next on our list is the Daddy of all villains....
Was that a spoiler?
Darth Vader is quite unique as his skill clears where you trace on the screen.
Look at that menacingness cute huh?
The red is where I traced
This means he has no problems clearing out his own men.... kinda messed up if you think too much about that. He has a base score of 100 and a maximum of 1276 he takes a whopping 36 redraws to max his skill... His skill is again interesting as it levels as it both increases the size of the swipes and decreases the required amount of Vader tsums needed to activate the skill, also on a side note he also kinda stops time I haven't tested if he counts as a timestop tsum but the timer definitely stops when you use his skill, and another note he doesn't build another skill during the skill if that makes sense so when you use the skill if you see a big Vader tsum try not to slash it so you can use it to rebuild the skill. That got long we should move onto something shorter...
See what I did there?
Yoda doesn't have the stature but he's quite gutsy his skill is probably one of the best time stop skills in the game but it requires a lengthy charge time but all of the chains you make count as one giant chain which makes him a really good money maker. Though I wouldn't recommend him for the event since he can't chain the Storm Troopers together or at least I haven't tried.... yep literally just confirmed it doesn't work ha...ha.. moving on!!
His calm before he starts kicking butt

You're already dead
His base score is 270 with a max of 1250 his skill takes 35 redraws I'm starting to see a lot of high numbers here... as his skill levels up it reduces the amount of tsums required to charge his skill from 25-20. So now lets move onto somebody around the same size...
He's kinda the same size but he's got heart
Its R2-D2 his skill clears tsums in three electricity arcs. Which is pretty great for clearing Storm Troopers.
Like so...you see that capsule there?
He's also one of the few tsums that kinda talks in beeps.
Gotta love the beeps
His base score is 90 kinda low with a max of 972 that's kind of low but it only takes 15 tsums to charge the skill which isn't too bad but his skill also only takes 29 redraws to finish his skill which is the first on this list to be below 30 which is nice. his skill increases the size of the arcs and while we are talking about droids...
The newest character currently available
BB-8 the droid people went nuts over is also the first character from the new trilogy available. His skill clears a large chunk from the bottom rows.
Just rolling along
And clearing out the competition
He's pretty good at clearing Storm Troopers though they have to be at the bottom of the screen...obviously he also only requires 14 BB-8's for full charge. His base score is 888 hah see what they did there he also gains score at a rate of 2... for a max of....986.... well then... though just like R2 only requires 29 redraws for max skill which increases the size of the skill. So now lets talk about another droid...
The golden god
C-3PO the first event tsum from this event is quite good actually clearing a horizontal line through the middle of the screen but not a line more like a chunk or road through the middle kinda like Max. But unlike max's 11 charge it takes C-3PO 15.
He may be the tsum your using...
But we all know who does all the work
This makes him pretty good for the event but unfortunately he doesn't get the character bonus so that sucks... his base score is a solid 400 with a maximum of 988. He also only requires 9 redraws to max his skill which is quite nice which increases the size of the skill. Now last but definitely not least...
Who needs a man?
Princess Leia. While she doesn't get the character bonus like C-3PO she is probably one of the best Storm Trooper clearers her skill has her shooting a few times and clearing random spots and as you continue the event she gets better and better.
Aren't those buns great?
Smells like victory
Her base score is 400 with a max of 1037 and once you complete the event you'll have finished her skill so try your best. And with that we are done with all of the Star Wars tsums for now it's unfortunate we didn't get Kylo or Rei...or the musical tsums for Luke or Vader (Come on Disney) but we might get this stuff later on down the road so keep on destroying those destroyers and next week I'll talk about what I think are some of the best money makers in the game. And where the heck is Han!?

Disney Tsum Tsum Game Mickey & Minnie Mouse Tsums

So the first tsum I want to talk about is one that everyone starts the game with and that's Mickey Mouse.
Everyone know's him
Everybody knows him and he is everyone's first tsum in this game and he is pretty good actually minus his low score. He counts as a black tsum, round ears, white hands, and clears the center with his skill. This is all somewhat obvious but some tsums out there have really odd things they count as.

His base score is 50 and it increases by 6 each time he levels so once he reaches max level each time you pop him during a game he will only earn you 344 points per Mickey. This is really low and he shares this quality with most of the happiness box tsums so trying to earn high scores with him may be difficult but what is good about him is his skill.

Mickey's skill clears the center it doesn't do a whole lot but there are some bingo cards that want you to use a skill that clears the center a certain amount of times and Mickey is the 2nd fastest charging skill in this category (only behind Thumper). It takes 14 Mickeys to charge the skill and it takes getting Mickey again from happiness boxes 7 times to max out the skill. But I need to complete the pairing.
Minnie Mouse has a lot in common with Mickey in terms of stats. She starts at 50 (just like Mickey) and increases by 6 per level (again just like Mickey) to cap at 344. She also counts as a black tsum, with round ears, and white hands but that's where the similarities end she also has a ribbon, blush, eyelashes, and her skill counts as calling in a sweetheart which can be hard to come by.
Her skill turns random tsums into Mickey's which can be cleared with Minnie. It takes 12 Minnie's to charge the skill and at level 1 it turns 7-10, and at max 10-13. This skill is very useful for making long chains from happiness boxes I think its second only to Eeyore but that's for another post.
That's a LOT of Minnie's
If you wait to use the skill til there are quite a few Minnie's to begin with you can make a massive chain.
ONE LONG CHAIN
That's all to say about Mickey & Minnie next week once the 2nd half of the event starts I will talk about the Star Wars tsums.
